Winter Solstice

Growing up in the midwest I remember giving and receiving oranges during the holiday season. When I started playing with coffees to find that perfect fit for a winter blend this was at the forefront of my mind. I decided to pair our savory and rich offering from Papua New Guinea and our yeast inoculated Burundi. The Burundi brings the citrus and sweetness to the party! The combination of savory and sweet citrus flavors evokes all of my childhood memories for this time of year. Perfect black and sipped with a great book and a snuggly blanket or it also takes cream and sugar well for another version of this killer winter time cup. Enjoy!
